In the meantime. . .

I was going to start posting, but it appears that I have just become gainfully employed after a considerable hiatus. It also appears that I have a lot of work to do. And that, following my usual policy regarding work and weblogs, is just about all that I will have to say on the subject.

Nonetheless, in the course of my peregrinations, I have found that an old friend, Pontifications, written by the redoubtable Fr. Al Kimel, which I thought had stopped posting altogether, is now up again, here.

Welcome back, Fr. Kimel, Welcome back.

More later.

I hope that you will be able to resume posting at least a little bit despite the new busy-ness. Or should such pleasures not be sought in lent?

Yes, I hope to resume with a post, and rather a large one, in the near future.

And while others may think otherwise, I personally believe this weblog to be a penitential one: my penance is to write it; yours (should you be so unfortunate) would be to read it.

Well then, being a Roman, I'm already in penitential mode, as soon as you have time lay it on!
